In this Evolve Markets review, we will discuss a crypto-based brokerage that offers Forex and CFD trading as well. Established in 2016, this broker is located at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. At first glance, it looks like you will have many opportunities here, but let’s see if that is the case.
Platform selection is one of the best things about this broker. As a client, you will have an opportunity to choose between two different platforms. One is web-based and the other is a famous MetaTrader 5.
MetaTrader 5 is a well-established platform and if you are an experienced trader, you already know all about it. But if you are a beginner, our suggestion would be to use a web trader this broker offers. This is a fast, online platform that has a modern interface and a wide variety of tools, indicators and features. You will easily manage it on every device, even without assistance.
When it comes to account types, this broker works as a usual cryptocurrency exchange. There is only one account. This is not a bad thing if you are here to trade crypto, but if you opened an account to trade Forex and CFDs you certainly want to see a selection of accounts with different offers.
While we are discussing the account, let us tell you one thing. You will have to pay some fees to start trading. Those are not deposit/withdrawal fees, but additional ones called trading fees (0.075% of the total contract (notional) value for Crypto trading and 0.0035% for Forex, Indices, and Commodities).
There is a Contact Us page on the website, but unfortunately, not a good one. You cannot expect constant support or different methods to reach out to them. The only way is to send an email and wait within 24 hours for a reply.
Of course, this is completely disappointing since this broker doesn’t even provide a phone number or Live Chat. You can go to the Frequently Asked Questions page, but don’t expect much help there. Those are some general answers and not in-depth explanations.
Deposits and Withdrawals
As we already told, Evolve Markets did not provide a lot of information. Even the most important ones are missing, like deposit and withdrawal conditions.
What we were able to find out are the minimum amounts. The good thing is that you are not obliged to deposit a specific amount. Things are a bit different for withdrawals so if you choose the Bitcoin method you need to withdraw at least 0.005 BTC, for the Litecoin method the minimum is 0.005 LTC, and for Tether the minimum is 10 USDT.
From this, you can see that the only payment methods available are the cryptocurrency ones. Even if you are here to trade CFD or Forex. This means you need to have an eWallet, otherwise, you do not have an option to trade at Evolve Markets. Honestly, this could be done much better. A simple Credit Card or Bank Transfer as an addition would make a significant change, but apparently, this broker doesn’t focus on that.
We believe that you already know how important education is. Without it, you will lose an opportunity to grow as a trader and continuously improve skills you gain. Unfortunately, at Evolve Markets you won’t have the possibility to gain new knowledge, since this broker does not provide any educational material.
Needless to say, this is completely disappointing. This broker does have a blog section and it is regularly updated. But instead of some useful material for clients, people from Evolve Markets only post articles about the broker itself. For example, you can find out what are the new things on the website, why is this broker a good opportunity for potential clients, etc. But is it really a good opportunity if you are not able to learn something new from time to time? It’s not, of course.
As you can see from this Evolve Markets review, this broker is not the one we could recommend. A lot of things are missing, you cannot count on proper support and you won’t be learning anything new. It’s 2020 and there are a lot of other opportunities. It would be a shame to waste your time on someone who cannot provide the most necessary things.
