The broker we are talking about is not a regulated one. Keep in mind that sometimes license is not a mandatory thing and it all depends on trading conditions and the level of protection. That’s the reason we will do in-depth research in this CryptoAltum review, to see whether a missing license should worry you or not.

Trading Platform

There is only one platform you can use here, MetaTrader 5. This is a well-known platform, but we were hoping to see some innovative ideas, honestly. We won’t say this broker made a bad choice with implementing MT5 on the website, but there is room for other options, too.

So, maybe sometime in the future, we will see new things, but for now, this is your only option if you open an account.

Account Types

CryptoAltum is apparently not that used to provide multiple options for the clients since there is only one trading account and you have to go with it. Some of the things you get in that account are automated (EA) trading, margin call of 150%, negative balance protection, and a free demo account. This is not that bad, but still, the lack of possibilities is a big minus.

If your goal is to improve skills and gain new knowledge, CryptoAltum won’t help you with that. This broker barely has any articles on the website, so you can forget about eBooks, Asset Index or Glossary.

There is a section named Blog and if you go there, a drop-down menu will open three different things: market analysis, an information hub, and company announcements. Basically, those are all just some information about the company and Daily Market reviews, that’s it.

So, you won’t be able to learn more things about Forex or how to trade in general. To me, education is an excellent way to show your clients how much you care. Apparently, clients are not in the first place in CryptoAltum and that’s not a good thing. We guess those claims from the beginning that this broker is a leading choice for crypto traders, are not true at all.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Once you open an account and go to the deposit page, the only option you will have is cryptocurrency. You can choose between BTC, ETH, XRP, BCH, LTC, or UST you do not have an option for Credit Card or Wire Transfer deposit. Needless to say, this is not a good thing since you are obliged to have eWallet.

The deposit method is easy, which is a plus, but that’s the only positive thing here. You have to sign in to the Client Portal and then choose the ‘Deposit’ button and follow the online instructions. Another thing we dislike is the fact that this broker wrote there is no minimum requirement, but when you go to the deposit and withdrawal page, there is one.

When it comes to withdrawals, you won’t wait a lot. The whole team is working 24 hours and it only takes one or two hours for withdrawal approval. It is stated that sometimes it can take 24 hours, but that’s not a long time, either. We are really pleasantly surprised by this part. After everything we have seen in this CryptoAltum review, we lost hope there would be something good.

Customer Support

At the first glance, support and assistance look excellent. There are different methods and finally, we have an option to choose something. Unfortunately, the excitement doesn’t last long since none of those methods is working properly.

First of all, there isn’t a contact page on the website. Everything is placed on the landing page (bottom right corner). There is a possibility to send a message using WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, email, or Live Chat. So, we are satisfied with the variety, but not with how everything is working.

Let’s start with the main problem, Live Chat. It’s not Live at all. There is a welcome message when you open it, but it’s a generic one. So, you have to send a message and wait for a reply. We did that, but never got an answer to the question.

As you can see, customer support at CryptoAltum is just implemented on the website due to better looking. It’s nice to see all those options, but they are not actually working. So, if something happens, you won’t be able to count on support and assistance.
